...that being the total content of a text message I received from an unknown number a few days ago.

I was really torn by this one - on the one hand, I do know the kind of people who would get themselves into a situation where they desperately needed me to ring them back on a random phone they had borrowed, and some of those people could conceivably forget to put their name on that kind of message. Drugs are wonderful things. On the other hand, it's 99.9999999% likely that it's some kind of scam.

I let the fact that I was somewhat harassed about something else at the time decide me, and I ignored it... but it's still bugging me. Anyone recognise this number? +447952545113

I can't offhand think what the scam might be, unless it redirects to a more expensive number. I tried googling the number but didn't find anything, and the text is too generic to be easily googled for.

(0)7958 is a an old mercury number [now t-mobile], I don't know if they also had (0)7952
