Words. Tricksy little buggers.

So, you're using an online shop. You click 'buy' on something shiny. The place the site stores the list of shiny things which you intend to buy should best be named... what?

PS: I'm in a really good mood today. Apparently the euphoria of having the first serious client sign up for some work from Shiny Ideas (on Friday just gone) is going to hang around and/or recur for a while. Which is nice :)

[personal profile] helenic and I have finished coding up the website for Shiny Ideas. Any feedback would be very welcome - although I haven't checked it for IE bugs yet, so they won't greatly surprise me (if you check it with IE and find no bugs, that'd be worth knowing) :)

In other shiny-new-things news, my new netbook arrived today. It is one of these. I have called it Zig*. It's impressively tiny, but with an almost tolerable keyboard size, which isn't bad going. I hear the battery life is poor, but I've not really played with it yet as I've been busy with the website. Tomorrow (well, later today), it will be Ubuntu Netbook Remix time for little Zig!

And now, it's dawn bedtime!

* as in 'take off every', not as in 'and zag' - although I do like to move it, move it.

Today we will mostly be trying to decide between almost identical fonts. Help?

ETA: We seem to have acquired an option #4b - see image in the comments, and I guess vote for 4 if you think 4b is the winnar. :)

Helen says to tell everyone that she is still working on the atom thingy and hence it is not yet to be criticised :) Personally I think it looks cool.

I'm probably going to be setting up a small business, and I'm looking for recommendations of accountants that might be good to use. In London would be a bonus, especially in N1, but reasonable prices would be more of a bonus and that probably means not in London at a guess :)

I'm going to need some advice on stuff like which type of company structure is good for me (I'm currently looking at an LLP which seems to offer advantages over a Ltd co. for my purposes, but they're relatively rare so I want to check I'm not missing something), and also whether I need to find a mail redirection service to be my 'registered office' or whether the accountants can handle (or recommend somebody to handle) that.

So basically, anything you've got in the way of advice/recommendations for accountancy and other advice when setting up a small business. Ta :)

I wasn't entirely sure about Liminal Minds as a webdev brand, and [personal profile] helenic (my partner in crime the proposed webdev company) was actively opposed to it. The survey yesterday seems to say that although some people like it, some people really don't, which isn't ideal for a business name.

So, next attempt:
