Starfuckers meme
Jan. 25th, 2003 02:15 am1. The first people to try and teach me to swim were the Watford football team.
2. The swimming pool was in Elton John's back garden.
(I still can't swim)
3. I met Danny John-Jules (the cat in Red Dwarf), when he was performing in a musical called 'The Wiz' (a 'hip' version of the Wizard of Oz). He shook my hand and said my baseball cap was cool.
4. I was in the studio when Tim Simenon (Bomb the Bass) finished the mix of Megablast for the game 'Xenon 2: Megablast'.
(I finally played the game a couple of years ago - something like 15 years later)
5. I've been backstage at too many gigs to remember, as my dad works in the music industry. My favourite of these gigs was probably S'Express, where I got a kiss from Betty Boo while backstage. The most famous was probably Erasure (Vince Clarke said 'hello' to me, Andy Bell was far too cool to talk to a 12 year old). Individually listing the people my dad has met would probably have made this a bit too easy, but Kylie was one of his clients last year.
(sadly, he didn't shag her, and neither have I)

Date: 2003-01-25 08:18 am (UTC)I was about 7 at the time, I think. Probably not a good age for a boy to be dressed in just his underpants in Elton John's back garden, if you recall the tabloid stories that broke about him a few years after that...

Ooo - Sunday - waaa, i can't - i'm meant to be going to Burns Night with Laura Corpus (as distinct from the other Laura who i haven't shagged) but she keeps interrupting me and it's going to be full of little sickening rugby boys trying to drink each other to the floor with whisky, so i'm going to see Two Towers with Duncan instead :) Eeeeelves! Again! And then i realised "but i was going to see Denny" but...i booked and stuff now...and it's elves...*feels silly*
