Went and picked up my test results from the clinic today, everything was reassuringly negative.

I raised my concerns about the way it seemed that I was being told I didn't need an HIV test due to only having straight sex lately, and the woman I was talking to today said that's definitely not their policy and she would discuss it with the doctor concerned. She also said that he's a pretty experienced doctor, and suggested that he miscommunicated rather than actually thinking anything that stupid.

My local clinic allows you to either pick up in person after three working days, or phone up after two weeks.

If you are at 1A in Addenbrookes, you'll need to go in in person, unless they've changed things since I went.
