Hey look, it's not a quiz!

I'm supposed to be in court on Tuesday. More precisely, some paperwork I was supposed to complete and send back sometime last week or before was due in court on Tuesday, but I think the default state of events is that if I don't send the paperwork in then I'm expected in court. I'm currently wondering if my mitigating circumstances claim of "I was (and to some extent still am) suffering from depression at the time I forgot to renew my motor insurance" will be more or less credible given that I've forgotten to get supporting evidence together and send it to the court. I suspect I'm in the shit. Currently trying to figure out what to do about this, if anything.
I spent this weekend in London with
duranorak. More accurately, I spent the weekend laid up in her bed with a pounding headache, hot and cold flushes, and muscle and joint aches that ranged from 'dull ache' to 'stabbing pain' all the way from my hips down to my feet. Most unpleasant, and hardly the condition you'd like to be in when you're spending the weekend with your girlfriend. *sulk*
I did scrape myself out of bed briefly on Saturday evening and we ventured forth to the God Is From Mars, You Are A Pirate party. Where I was a pirate. And
duranorak was an accessory to my outfit, i.e. a wench :) She looked absolutely stunning in her shiny new corset, and I probably looked sweaty, ill, and generally unappealing. I think
wechsler greeted me with "So how long have you been dead for?" when he turned up...
By 10pm I was having a hard time staying upright even when I was sat down on a sofa, so we headed back to the safety of bed... which was great until I woke up at 3am or thereabouts and couldn't get back to sleep due to being absolutely freezing even with two duvets, plus the aforementioned stabbing aches. Bad body, no biscuit.
Update: Should have mentioned, I am more or less better now. No more temperature imbalances, and the headache has backed off to a dull throb. The remaining muscle aches can probably be attributed to Friday night's dancing :)
Heading home on the train today, I was stuck on a carriage with three teenage girls with Liverpool accents and shrill voices, all mini-skirts and eye make-up, who spoke loudly and opinionately on any number of subjects all the way to Hemel Hempstead... whereupon one of them phoned home and very quietly and politely said "We'll be home soon mummy... Yes, can you pick us up? Thankyou, love you, see you soon." and then tried not to make eye contact with anyone else in the carriage until they got off two stations later. Awwww...
Finally, spotted on a mailing list I'm on: US Judge rules P2P software is legal.
