My plans to tidy my house this weekend have fallen foul of the nastiest bug I've had in a while. I know blokes are often accused of over-using the word 'flu', but I think when I've got a headache, aching muscles, stabbing pains, nauseau, a cough and a blocked up nose, I'm probably allowed. Oh, and I keep whiting-out when I stand up - which is mildly entertaining the first few times, but gets a bit old after that.

Bleurgh.

Fortunately gothslut is here to point and laugh offer love and sympathy, so at least I get to play the invalid to an appreciative audience. She's nicking all my chocolate while I'm too ill to eat it myself though... ain't love grand.

Glad I bought the Red Dwarf series 2 DVD on Friday, I'm going to sit in bed and watch that until I feel better (probably just in time to go back to work tomorrow, knowing my luck!). I do hope I'm better for tomorrow anyway, it's the Skelliga gig which I've been looking forward to...
