On a whim, I decided to count up how many calories I'd eaten/drunk at work today...

1 x cheese and ham toasted sandwich - estimated 400 600 kcal
2 x Orange Lucozade - 266 each
1 x battered sausage and chips (from fish and chip shop) - estimated 600 1000 kcal
1 x isotonic drink - 136 kcal
2 x mini Cadbury's Dairy Milk - 80 each
1 pack of cheap strawberry fizzy sweets - 240 kcal

600 + 266 + 266 + 1000 + 136 + 80 + 80 + 240 = 2668

[Plus dinner, which I've now forgotten but was probably not entirely healthy.]

The Lucozade bottle helpfully informs me that 266 kcal is 13% of my RDA, so that makes the RDA about 2050? [Or maybe 2500? Or 3000? PRACE BETS NOW!] Clearly I have a well-optimised terrible balanced frightening whatever diet. *cough*

how do you categorise heavy lifting on that thing? 'Cause I'm pretty sure I need more than what it recommends for me, especially in cold weather. But maybe I'm just fat ;)

I think I'd have to actually do some heavy lifting to know the answer ;-)

Damn, and here I was hoping it was specified in some super sekkrit category I'd missed. I guess nobody ever thinks about those of us who play very heavy instruments for a living.
