After some time on the wagon*, I appear to have purchased a new domain name this morning. Suggestions for interesting content welcomed... the idea that prompted me into doing the whois lookup in the first place was this line on IRC (in the context of the discussion about surveillance microphones):

* [livejournal.com profile] hashbangperl decides it would be fun to have a list of things in London that have appeared in 1984, V for Vendetta and Brave New World

I figure a page of links to relevant news stories would be good too - although it might be a problem keeping track of them all these days, there are so many.

* I own far too many domain names. Although considerably fewer than I owned five years ago.

Oooh, I love it when you get political. I'm definitely interested in reading that list, although it does sound like a lot of work to compile...

Hello Mr DennyD Sir! This is kinda surreal. I know of you via friends of friends, I then have deja-vue due to the policestate.co.uk domain, realise I've seen it mentioned on IRC elsewhere ... to then find out it's the BBLUG, and Dave knows you from another london goffs thing ... *boggle*

Small world, and all that. Oddly circular - IRC to LJ to IRC to *boggle*

Anyway - will keep an eye on the domain - sounds interesting :)

Well, London was his phrasing - we're all stuck with the stupid laws as far as I can see.

You do seem rather political. And into your fetish stuff too. So, I thought of this, which I first came across on the internet many years ago (like 2002 or something) and thought it may be of interest to you. Apologies if you've already seen it. Have you ever been broken up under the Disorderly Houses Act 1751?
