Aug. 7th, 2003 10:19 pm...pulling bits of bone out of my leg.
I kept wondering what that hard bit was about halfway down the front scar, but figured it was just a weird spot of scab or something. Idly poking and picking it today (as you do), I suddenly unseated it, and it turns out to be a small splinter of bone.
Cool.
Unfortunately, my desire to see it in more detail led to me making a highly quoteable statement that
duranorak is even now typing into her journal, in the other room... enjoy :)

Date: 2003-08-07 02:31 pm (UTC)I imagine the splinter (being more or less a foreign body now) would have kept being pushed to the surface and breaking the skin until I hooked it out, so in this case I probably did the right thing... but generally speaking the temptation to poke and prod the whole lot is really quite hard to resist, although I am trying. Mostly.
By the way, I keep meaning to mention, that's an incredibly nice picture of you.
