The site looks and sounds a bit amateurish, but read the guy's bio, and read the letter linked at the bottom of the front page, then read about what happened to him after he sent it.

There was a definite lack of arse-covering there, very naive of him. Nonetheless, the situation seems quite outrageous.

It does, but anyone who's worked for a manager, especially someone who's been in the industry this long, should have known to expect something like this. Really.

However, if I ever go contracting, I will look into some serious self-protection and disclaimers etc. as part of the standard contract for hiring me.
