Yeah, that's the plan. Went and looked at a few MR2s at the weekend, but I wasn't that impressed... they just didn't feel like six grand's worth of fast/flashy car. I'm going to have to check out some alternatives...
Tonight is okay... I have a brief hospital appointment tomorrow evening (collect test results and get a booster jab, 7pm-ish), and physio on Wednesday.
Mostly it's earmarked for paying off debts... getting rid of that lot will be almost as relaxing as a holiday! I've also told work that I want a week off once I get a car, so I can chill out, and bimble around the country visiting a few friends...
(I went to a cash machine and hit 'print balance' several times last time this happened to me, as I didn't anticipate having a bank balance with that many digits before the decimal point ever and wanted some souvenirs :)
I asked for a duplicate statement on the day I got paid for the Olympics, before woefully having to distribute the money to those that needed paying...
An undisclosed sum, I think is the satement I meant to make here...:(
If the yanks had paid on time AS AGREED I would have got around 128K profit for the job, but, because in their wisdom they waited an extra 87 days, and I was renting a warehouse in Germany on short lease, ( boy those guys really charge when you go 87 days over your lease period ) to store the goods, and security on said warehouse, plus the weekly doubling of air freight fees to Sydney in the build up ( this was 7 tonnes of gear ) and the fact I re mortgaged my house to " shoot the deal " I came out with a measly 2, 700 quid most of which was eaten up by the prescriptions the doctor was giving me for stress as the job went on....
The BACS transfer took 4 days to hit my account, in which time I forfeited another 11k in transport and warehouse and security fees. I will NEVER do that again....:)
