I wanted to say thank you for pointing out my rather surprising triple post on trishpiglet's blog, an error for which I have the gods of "This document contains no data" to thank. In my haste to remedy this error I inadvertently deleted the thread containing your message, making it difficult to given you an in-line acknowledgment. However, this did force me over here, which may not be such a bad thing. I must say I highly approve of your opinion of Pattern Recognition, so I may have to think about adding you to my regular reading list...
Hmm. After reading your interests list (after reading another post about matching interests ... alas, no bold text visible, but then again my list is written with the expectation that my brother and sister - and, after last Friday, my coworkers - are likely to read it), I find obliged to add you at least temporarily to see if you are interested in taking this poll (http://www.livejournal.com/users/webcowgirl/271704.html).
Such a gentleman! Thank you for not embarassing me any more that I did on my own.
Yes, Idoru was a snooze, but I have returned to Pattern Recognition (in my head) over and over again. Very few books of late have held on that tenaciously - American Gods is about the only one that comes to mind.
We overlap

Gibson etc.
