Hoax emails
Jun. 26th, 2004 11:42 amI am reminded this morning that not all of my friends and family know how to spot a hoax email.
The most important clue is this one: any email that contains the words "forward this to everyone in your address book" should be deleted on sight - it will invariably be crap (either a hoax or a crappy chain letter).
You can check for hoaxes here:

Crappy chain letters are a matter of taste - I'm talking about those 'send this to your best friends to show how much you love them' things that read like a Clintons card. I hate them - please don't send them to me :)
