Nooooo!!! Why would I want to do that?!

(I'm guessing it was an advert for Viagra or something, but talk about putting off your target market) :)

That's because there's always little kids running around when you're wearing them!

The last time you had them on when they weren't, you had no interest in being taken advantage of... *pouts more*

(am on ICQ btw...)

Was fun. Sadly my marathon Johnny Depp appreciation session was interrupted by the duck needing to be turned every 30 minutes. Fortunately I had earlier had a dose of Audrey Hepburn appreciation (My Fair Lady. So pretty.) so didn't feel too deprived.
And the duck was nice. I should cook duck more often; it's really not that expensive and the one 2kg duck did two meals for two (hungry/greedy) people.

Hmm. This morning I only have three spams awaiting my attention, but one of them has the subject lines "get it up" followed immediately by one with "lose it".

Have now added a filter rule for sender=MAILER-DAEMON@aol.com. A lot of spammers are apparently trying to send to AOL customers with randomized (that I would never use) local parts at my domain, which AOL is dutifully bouncing back to me. Gits.

Yeah, I've been getting thousands of those... apparently AOL are considering blocking a couple of my domains, which is annoying.

Apparently this is what the SPF (http://www.infinitepenguins.net/SPF/) thing that [livejournal.com profile] wechsler has been crusading for lately is supposed to prevent... you add an extra DNS entry that says what servers mail from your domain is allowed to originate from. Sounds promising, if they can get hotmail et al to take it up.

SPF is all very well if you run your own DNS/relay, but I doubt my ISP is going to do anything about it any time soon.

I've now added a rule for body="The information presently available to AOL" to handle the case where AOL refuse delivery and the open relay bounces it back to me. Grr. Why can't they even be bloody consistent about their shit spam handling policies.
