Hey kid, want to score an LJ code?
Dec. 6th, 2003 03:50 pmSo I just gave an LJ code to someone I've never heard of before, after they left me this comment. I spoke to them briefly on AIM first...
( AIM chat )
It was the phrase 'my friends and i are not afluent people' that made it for them - I figured anyone whose English is up to that standard is going to be a lot better for LJ than most of the journals you can randomly bounce into :)
Whaddya reckon, would you have given someone a code like that? I'm not really sure how exclusively they're supposed to be regarded - I certainly don't mind giving them to friends of friends, or even friends of friends of friends, because there's always a trust-path there, but this is the first time I've had to figure out whether to give one to someone I have no connections to. I do have a lot of the things though, it seems churlish not to at least consider sharing them :)
Update: welcome, then, to
shootselfinface. Hey, I hope that's not a Kurt Cobain thing ;)
