I just thought I'd mention that there's someone on the road across from mine letting off some really good fireworks - they're visible from my bedroom window. It was only when I turned back to the PC to load up LJ that I realised the last batch were so good that they've left me flash-blind in the centre of my vision! :)

The ones they're letting off now are quite pretty too... (free fireworks shows)++

Lol, you get the general idea! I've never been keen on loud bangs but i'm better with them now than i was 3 years ago say. I do like the pretty colours though :) On the way back from Heathrow on Saturday night we had free displays all the way home down the motorway, flashes but no bangs! It was great!
