I just thought I'd mention that there's someone on the road across from mine letting off some really good fireworks - they're visible from my bedroom window. It was only when I turned back to the PC to load up LJ that I realised the last batch were so good that they've left me flash-blind in the centre of my vision! :)

The ones they're letting off now are quite pretty too... (free fireworks shows)++
