Date: 2003-11-05 05:29 am (UTC)I have drunk very little the last couple of days, I'm not sure why it's working out that way. I'm wondering if it's because it's difficult for me to wander downstairs and get stuff out of the fridge, so I subconciously repress thirst signals.
This is one of the sorts of things I want to pick up by doing this listing process...

You body can cope a lot more easily with a junk food diet than it can with dehydration, it will slow your healing time down a lot.

Date: 2003-11-05 03:29 pm (UTC)I like very cold fruit juice - warm, I find it distinctly less appetising - same for most drinks. I've been trying to compromise by having bottles of Orangina kicking around, which doesn't taste too foul warm and (I'm guessing) has some sort of useful vitamin content compared to stuff like 7UP.

Date: 2003-11-05 05:53 pm (UTC)Do you have a reasonably sized freezer. If so freeze some fruit juice in trays and add it to a large jug of juice that you have in the fridge to keep it colder for longer. Add more of the frozen juice as required.
Or get yourself some of the better quality ice lollies and have them instead.

Date: 2003-11-06 05:47 am (UTC)I'll ask my sister about lending you hers if you like, seeing as APU won't let her have it in her room. Subject to be able to get it to MK of course.
Various supermarkets stock high fruit content cordials under variations on the name of "high juice", which don't go off in the bottle and make water a hell of a lot more palatable.
