Just got my payslip for last month... I've been paid the stupendous sum of £244. This is Not A Good Thing™.

I was under the impression that I was entitled to full pay for up to 36 weeks, now that I've been with the company for over a year... this looks more like statutory sick pay to me, which isn't even going to cover the interest payments on my mortgage, let alone anything else.

Eep.

call your bank and put the mortgage onto interest only? If you explain they should be OK about it.

You can do the same thing with other debts/bnills as well..

Although if you're going to be incapacitated a long time, now may be the time to get a lodger.. :)

Sounds like you need to do some research and stuff - look at your contract / talk to your company.

*hugs* best of luck.

Doesn't your mortgage include insurance which will cover the payments if you're ill?
If not try phoning Housing Benefit and get them to send someone out to visit you with a claim form.

Eek.

Have you had a look at your contract? Perhaps there's been a mistake? *crosses fingers that this is the case*
