Every time I build up some money, he comes along and kicks the living shit out of me and takes every single piece of gold that I have. He does it with a fairly small amount of attack turns too. This morning he used 4 attack turns and took over 100,000 gold from me - leaving me with exactly 0 gold. Again.

I am thoroughly pissed off with him. If you have spare attack turns, and the right size of force for it to be worthwhile, please do me a favour and go give him a good kicking. Thankyou.

Update: someone just gave me his attack/defence figures - don't bother attacking him unless your attack figure beats his defence figure, I presume...

Ouch. I had 4 attacks spare so I thought I'd test the water. He whupped me. He's got some heavy equipment purchases under his belt, I'd bet.

Was there any killing though? I've just used up all my attack turns on him, and although I lost every single battle, I did cause a small decrease in his army size. Over the course of 90 attack turns, I killed 20 of his troops - although I did lose 26 of my own in the process. Not as uneven as I would have expected considering the way he's been plundering me...

About a week ago we were taking regular pot-shots at each other, with a couple lost on each time. I've attacked twice. Once he defended (and I lost 1 soilder) and the second time I grabbed his 15K gold and there were no casulties on either side. I'll keep going every time he seems to gather some money.

Do you train your troops? I've currently got 15% attack, 15% defend, and 70% general, but I dunno if thats a sensible arrangment or not.

I've got all mine trained at roughly 50:50 attack/defence, but from reading around, I'm starting to think that all out attack is the way to go in this game. This guy has kind of proved the point, with his really high attack rating he can just help himself to my money whenever he feels like it...

Since you've got less troops than I, you might be interested in attacking him (http://www.kingsofchaos.com/viewprofile.php?id=403743) or him (http://www.kingsofchaos.com/viewprofile.php?id=253882) since they are both easy to beat up, and I've grown a bit to big to have a go at them.

If you haven't built up significant weaponry then you don't want to harass this bloke really.

Having just looked at your profile, I'd advise you (if you're still interested in the game) to go to the Armory (links on left) and upgrade your attack and defence siege weaponry as much as you can afford. Then beat people up and steal all their money. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Not sure I understand this game at all. I just bought loads of stuff, and got told somebody was too weak to attack. What's that all about? Surely that's what whupass IS? *Shrug*

You can only pick on people who have an army at least half the size of your own.

If you're feeling brave, you can attack people with armies up to 5 times the size of yours too. Don't though  :)

I did earlier on, when I was going up against people who might be evenly matched but now I just check to see that they've got lower fortifications or seiging capabilities.

Apparently it's worth picking on people with high equipment levels (although low enough that you should beat them) as this contributes to their overall 'worth' and means you get more of their gold. I think that with the amount of time you could waste spying on people, someone else is likely to come along and beat them up before you actually manage to launch your own attack :)

From reading I was doing the other day (on the KoC forums), the more soldiers you set to defence, the more vicious your counter-attack will be... so maybe he's got a strong defence component there. On the bright side, the more you have set to defence, the more likely you are to suffer casualties when someone attacks you...
