I have a suspicion that my work-mates are alive, but the smell and work rate suggests otherwise.....

Dogs, everytime. I have been saying for years that cats are unpredictable. Actually, last night, one of the cats came over, and I gave him a chance. He proved everything I have maintained for years by trying to bite me while I was fussing him.

A black bird of some description. I was rather disappointed about it's perceived "hardness", until I saw Hitchcock's "The Birds".

the_aviator recently forced me to read the entire trilogy, appropriately enough on his Palm. The odd thing was I'd read Mona Lisa Overdrive separately without realising it was the end piece, and it made *so* much more sense this time round...
