Apparently I can have:

2x La Croix du Chene 2007 £8.99
2x Gosling Creek Verdelho 2008 £7.49
2x Milani Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 2008 £6.99
1x Brewery Hill Chardonnay Viognier 2008 £8.99
1x Gosling Creek Merlot 2007 £7.49
2x Paul Godinat Loire Sauvignon Blanc 2008 £8.99
1x Arabella Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 £7.99
1x Canepa Reserva Privada Pinot Grigio 2008 £12.99

For £55 delivered. Is this brilliant/alright/not that interesting/a really bad idea?

(Leaving aside that I don't drink :) I'm assuming I have enough friends who would help me get rid of them over the next few weeks)

I would say that it's quite a good way of getting a reasonable range of reasonably good, reasonably priced wine without having to think about it. I used to get those sorts of boxes; these days I prefer to buy the wine I actually want, rather than the wine some-one else wants to give me, but since you don't drink this probably doesn't apply to you. You could do far worse.

That seems pretty good value. I'll happily buy half of it off you if that helps the decision :)

It seems like a con to me I saw the Arabella CS 2009 for 3.05 quid elsewhere. Mick
