Just watching Dark City, and roodypoo69 pointed out that the female lead is the girl from Labyrinth. Interesting to see what people crop up in after well-known childhood roles.

She was also in Requiem for a Dream, which people keep telling me I should see. They also keep saying "it's really downbeat", which doesn't really encourage me - I like my film entertainment to be more pleasant than real life, generally.

OK. Do not go see Requiem For A Dream. You'll hate it.

I think it's great, but I'm sure I wouldn't like a lot of your favourite films. That's OK. I can live with that.

It's not exactly a feel good movie, but it's almost worth it for the double ended dildo scene. Shame you have to watch most of the film first. Jennifer Connolly does like to strip off in films, which suits me, cos she's incredibly hot.
