A friend of mine wrote this, I thought it might be of use to some people who read this journal:

If you have any feedback, I'm sure he'd be pleased to hear it.

I was going to say what's wrong with ImageMagick, but then I saw that it's a windows GUI tool.

TBH, a number of image manip programs have a 'batch mode', although I don't know how well they work and if they retain EXIF info..

That looks a nice tool, but when I was still on Windows, I tended to use the batch mode of Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com) - not sure if that preserves EXIF info though.

While not a big deal for some people, I do tend to be put off by programs requiring the .NET framework to be installed (as I noticed was the case here), as the download and patches soon add up. As there are several versions of the .NET framework, he might want to clarify which one on his requirements list. (UPDATE - just seen in the changelog that it's .NET 2.0, still might be an idea for him to list that at the top, as 3.0 and 3.5 are also out).

A big pat on the back that he has tested and got it running on the 64-bit platform though, I've not seen many non-commercial developers taking the time to do that.
