Home again...

Just got home after a long cold ride home from Cheltenham. Via London. Surprisingly this wasn't due to my terrible navigation this time, I sidetracked a bit to give duranorak a hug or three...

Will probably update more about the weekend later, or possibly tomorrow. Right now I'm overdue to phone darklightimages and see about going to see a film or something. Also, I'm starving... I think a large quantity of food is definitely in my immediate future.

Erm, sorry about what?

The rain only put in the briefest of appearances as I got near the M25, a light drizzle. It had cleared again before I got into London proper. So that was pretty good going, I thought.

Incidentally, it took me 2.5 hours to reach central London from yours. Also not bad going, considering the traffic inside London was pretty much stationary for half the way.

The same description applied to the M1 on the way home from London - I can't figure out why so many people would be going out of London on a Sunday night?

If I'd been trying to get through that traffic in the car, I dread to think what time I would have got home. Probably sometime today!
