Heh, reading that just seems scary.. Removing juries, compulsory detention (and treatment). I think the "treatment" part is what scares me more (for crazy people) - since most of our "treatments" don't do much of anything. Wrongly convicted, have fun getting your "assets" back.
Does this: 'On anti-social behaviour, Mr Blair said the Tories were "completely out of touch with the needs of people in this country".' seem slightly hypocritical to anybody?
And could this have been better worded? "My government will put victims at the heart of the criminal justice system"
"Police will also be given the power to throw home-owners out of their properties within 48 hours for committing anti-social behaviour."
