Just got email from my employer... looks like they're going to make me redundant rather than wanting me back when my leg finishes healing.
Oh well. I suppose I didn't like it there anyway... but this really isn't going to help with the debts I'm running up while I'm off sick - the insurance claim is going to drag on for years before it pays anything out.

Work don't like me, so certainly won't stretch to anything above the contractually obliged month's notice. I think they'll have trouble making me work the month though, as they're going to be making me redundant on the grounds that there's no work for me, so at least I'll have that out of them for nothing, hopefully.
