In the best tradition of men asking about questions about women's underwear: "A friend wants me to ask..."

[Poll #725667]

I won't be passing on the names of who answered what, just letting them see the results as anyone can. The information is going to be used for commercial purposes (i.e. picking a good price-point for selling underwear, I guess) so if that bothers you, please don't answer.

Which leads to amusement as I show them how to go through their wives underwear drawer to check for sizing etc.

A word of warning: many women − I've seen estimates as high as seven in ten − wear the wrong size of bra, either through ignorance, or through the correct size not being commonly available and so having to make do with an approximation.

This is very true, I see this problem every day with women who have back/shoulder issues often caused by a badly fitting bra. However, if women can't get their own bra size right, they can't very well give their man grief for doing likewise. If you want to buy something as a surprise, you have to at least have a guide to go by when shopping.

The old 'holding your hands up to your chest and saying 'they're about this size' ' isn't very helpful in a lingerie store.
