Some fantastic comments mixed in with the crap on this page:

My favourite:
Hello, everybody. I'm not gay.
Yes, I have an astonishingly beautiful girlfriend and frequently engage in h0tt girl-on-girl action. but still NOT GAY.

...

Oh look, still not gay.

It's called bisexual. It might be semantics to you, but it's a matter of identity to me. If someone asks me if I'm gay, I say no. I do usually add that I'm bisexual or queer, but I reject the idea that it is my responsibility to do so, or that it would become my responsibility to do so if I were in a public role. Queer politicians don't have a responsibility to make their sexuality public until straight politicians have to as well.

Just to clarify: still having the hot lesbo sex. Still not gay.

Yeah, that's [livejournal.com profile] biascut. We like her lots. She wrote a stonking letter to the Guardian about this one. Does so frequently, actually. You should add her :)

I had this argument in the car with my boss this morning. Oops.

'bisexual' is not a subset of 'gay'

No, I sort of see it as a superset, stradling (yes I know it's spelt wrong, but it's a pun, and I'm going to use it) both hetro and homo orientations...
