I took next week off work so I could spend some time with a friend, but now she's had to cancel our plans. I notice the other person I really wanted to see is also busy for most of the next week, so that leaves me at something of a loose end.

Anybody want a Denny? Potentially available any time from tonight through to Thursday, depending on location etc.

Edit: I now feel much less rejected - thank you all :) I'm mostly busy for the week now - I'll probably be in Cambridge Tuesday evening through to some time on Friday or Saturday, and I'm going to TG Saturday night, so sleeping Sunday. I don't seem to be doing much tonight and tomorrow, but that might be a good thing... catching up on my sleep is always nice. This Sunday I might be in MK, and Monday or Tuesday daytime I might be in central London.

Does that mean that you're free on Wednesday then? You could come to the all day film club after all.

Oooh, so I could. Ah, except I have a physio appointment now. I'll see if I can reschedule it.

Woo, yay, houpla!

Yep, moved my appointment, so can attend. Any preferences on when I turn up / go away?

Yay. Do you fancy Callinging? In which case about 8ish on Tuesday, otherwise mid-morning on Wednesday. I've got Thursday & Friday off work, so unless you have other plans you could stay until one or other of us needed to be in London.

That sounds like an extremely pleasant way to spend most of the week :) I'll probably head down for the Calling then, I'll let you know for sure once I figure out what I'm doing Sunday/Monday. And heading back to London together sounds good to me.

Coming to Synthetic Culture tonight? Looks like there'll be a good showing from the Drunk Bisexuals.

...Who are really no longer worthy of the name now that levels of drinking have dropped so much. Though admittedly the Sober Bisexuals is not that inspiring a description.

Anyway, yes, come to Synthetic Culture!

See reply to Karen... it's tempting, but not tempting enough at present.

I'm always in two minds about going to SC. A like a lot of people who go there, and I do really like the music, but the place gets so smoky so fast, and then I can't dance or talk with anyone because I can't breath any more and my throat hurts.

After that it's all a bit pointless, as I either stand around alone in corridor corners where there's still oxygen, sit outside getting cold, or go home.

If I haven't heard anything about temp fork for next week by the end of today, there is a very real possibility that I will have to trek up to London on at least one day next week to sign up with yet more agencies. I'll let you know...

No excuse not to go to: this (http://circusspace.co.uk/jugglingconvention05.htm), then. :-)

Actually from what I've heard, the cabaret shows at circusspace are pretty stunning, though if you do want to go, I'd recommend ringing them up today to check that they've still got places available for the show...

If you fancy meeting up in Milton Keynes, I'm free Sat afternoon and Sun evening, although cash is tight so I have no idea what we'd do (unless watching the latest Wallace and Gromit sounds appealing?).

Hrm... I might pop into MK for the cruise on Sunday evening actually. I'll let you know when my new plans settle out a bit, but that's a definite possibility :) W&G sounds good to me!

Yeah, might be there Sunday from the sound of things... you about? Want to join us for W&G maybe?

Am having night in this eve (sanity time!*) and busy at weekend.
Have only just seen you but if you're twiddling your thumbs Monday or Tuesday eve next week and you don't think it's Too Much Trish (did see you last night after all), give me a shout.
* - and laundry time, before clothes start to crawl into the washing machine of their own accord)

Sorry to hear your friend had to cancel

ROTFL, I know you probably wouldn;t do it, but I don't have the Dillon next week, and not sure what airfare is from there to NYC :)

But my house would be open to you if you ever wanted to come to NYC for a few days :)

You are my ideal dining companion. Cool, we'll find somewhere to feed us then... I did have a recommendation from someone for somewhere, but as you may guess from the vague sentence, I lost it :) I'll have a look in my email archives tomorrow and see it resurfaces.
