Conversation with my (slightly drunk) boss last night:

"So it's your birthday tomorrow?"
"Day after."
"Oh. Well you know you get a day's holiday on your birthday, right?"
"Uh, yeah - it's a cool company policy - but the day after tomorrow is a Saturday anyway."
"Yeah, yeah... but uh, that means you have to take Monday off instead."
"Are you serious?"
"Yeah! Otherwise, you know, it wouldn't be fair. So we'll see you on Tuesday."

I double-checked today, with him sober. He was serious. Nice.

Excellent, have a happy birthday tomorrow. I'd get you something, but since the only thing left on your wishlist is £44 and I'm broke until my first self employed cheque clears, I'm with you in spirit instead.
