Edit: disappointing response in this area... mixed warehouse and office space on this industrial estate, it looks like about 1/10 of the office staff came out, and no-one at all from the warehouses and other units.

I hear more central areas were much more impressive, which makes sense I suppose.

Most of our office went out, but I chose to remain in the office. For me, silences like that are a private thing, a time to reflect and think in peace.

The customer I was with has a pretty big building with (I guess) a few hundred peeps in. I didn't see anyone go outside, but they all took it very seriously. There was an announcement 10 minutes before and then a beep at 12 whereupon the place fell silent.
