denny: (Warning - Chaotic system)
Does anybody have use for a bunch of Windows educational/encyclopedia software? There's one about science, one about nature, and possibly one about space. They're pitched at 8-10 year olds if I recall correctly - possibly younger, it's been quite a while since I looked at them.

In related news, I just finished unpacking the last big box of stuff that I moved in here with (not including the books, which I can't unpack yet due to the damp problem). I've taken this last box along with me on my previous, um, six or seven house moves, without ever unpacking it, or even looking in it much, so it was a bit of a random expedition through my life of ten or so years ago. Obviously most of it has got thrown away now (including more versions of Linux on CD than I could be bothered to count), but there was some amusing keepable stuff in there too... for instance, student's union cards with pictures of me looking all young and shiny :-p

In place of the huge pile of various shape and size boxes that I moved in here, I now have half a dozen boxes of stuff slightly more neatly packed into stackable plastic containers, which I can stash away in a cupboard (once I get that damp sorted out).

Gosh, it's almost like being a grown-up. Fortunately my next task is to inflate the ball-pool and fill it with all the balls, including the new ones that [livejournal.com profile] konekosaru just donated to the cause of ball-related happiness :)
