Interesting site re: software patents

The idea is that all companies using open source softare, or writing any kind of software, should register to say that they feel the proposed legislation will impact negatively on their business. If your company doesn't yet realise that this is the case, then either you work for IBM/Apple/Microsoft/$other_really_big_company, or someone there needs to do some research into the situation.

Dunno why it suddenly occured to me to put this in writing, maybe because it happens more these days, but anyway... I don't really like being kissed on the cheek by friends. If you don't like me enough to kiss me properly, or have some other issue about kissing me properly (too much history, jealous partner, whatever), then don't do it. Just give me a hug (I'm presuming you like me that much if you're thinking of laying your lips on my cheek). Hugs are good :)
I don't know exactly what it is I object to about it, I think it's the 'safe middle ground' thing. I don't like the middle ground. All or nothing, eh?
