Dunno why it suddenly occured to me to put this in writing, maybe because it happens more these days, but anyway... I don't really like being kissed on the cheek by friends. If you don't like me enough to kiss me properly, or have some other issue about kissing me properly (too much history, jealous partner, whatever), then don't do it. Just give me a hug (I'm presuming you like me that much if you're thinking of laying your lips on my cheek). Hugs are good :)

I don't know exactly what it is I object to about it, I think it's the 'safe middle ground' thing. I don't like the middle ground. All or nothing, eh?

To answer the question, I don't mind being kissed on the cheek by people who would kiss me on the lips... it's the use of a kiss on the cheek as a 'this is as close as I want to get' sort of deal that bugs me.
