Jun. 16th, 2005 08:26 amJust waved goodbye to the car as it disappeared on the back of a flatbed, bound for Newbury and an expert rebuild.
Investigation of my insurance situation yesterday revealed that I can't afford to change the ECU until I've resolved the liability for my bike accident, so for now it's just getting the rebuild, mild porting, and de-cat downpipe. Rest of exhaust, air filter, and ECU+mapping, will have to wait.
Last night on the owners club forums someone posted a really strong recommendation of the place it's going to, saying they did a fantastic job and in less time than quoted. I hope mine gets the same treatment.
