Medical update
Oct. 28th, 2003 06:24 pmThe hospital seemed cautiously happy with the progress of my leg. I've been told I can now practise weight-bearing up to one-third of my body weight on it. Armed with this news, I went and bought some bathroom scales and did so a few times. Now my leg aches and is going click again, which it had stopped doing. Not entirely happy about this, so I don't think I'll bother trying any more weight-bearing practise until after my job interview tomorrow, and possibly after a chat with the hospital.
In other news, the hospital said that I absolutely could not spray my crutches black... however, they did then add that they only cost the hospital about ten quid to replace, and they don't charge you if you never return them. I think I see a careless loss and voluntary donation in my future. And some black spray paint. The nurses said this plan was fine by them, as long as I didn't tell them about it :)
