Medical update

The hospital seemed cautiously happy with the progress of my leg. I've been told I can now practise weight-bearing up to one-third of my body weight on it. Armed with this news, I went and bought some bathroom scales and did so a few times. Now my leg aches and is going click again, which it had stopped doing. Not entirely happy about this, so I don't think I'll bother trying any more weight-bearing practise until after my job interview tomorrow, and possibly after a chat with the hospital.

In other news, the hospital said that I absolutely could not spray my crutches black... however, they did then add that they only cost the hospital about ten quid to replace, and they don't charge you if you never return them. I think I see a careless loss and voluntary donation in my future. And some black spray paint. The nurses said this plan was fine by them, as long as I didn't tell them about it :)

Good idea re ringing to check clicking isn't indicative of badness. My better shoulder (least messed up) makes an impressive crrrraaackk everytime I do my exercises in fact I know I am doing it right if it cracks. The physio said someting about crap on the back of my shoulder blade and not to worry.

Don't think that sounds as reassuring as its meant to so I'll hope you ring hospitalness and get their advice!

Good news on the leg, and the crutches, **yay** for black crutches! :)

I have a spare pair btw (don't ask) should you need them to replace those one's...

I can stick 'em in the car when I come down to see you.
