I've finally managed to get my desktop looking almost exactly the way it did before the Debian install, and suddenly I feel much happier about the whole thing. Call me shallow, but if there's one good thing Apple has provided the world of computing with, it's the millions of MacOS X Aqua themes that have sprung up in their wake. I feel much better now that I've got my preferred version back in place.

You like OSX Aqua? I hate it, just haven't got round to killing it with extreme prejudice on my old G4. I heard that the replacement GUIs were a little on the 'kill your system' side which aint so good when its your main (and at the time) and only working machine.

Glad Debian is behaving itself. I Debianised an old G3 because it'd die running OSX and it went very well, it was the mac end of things which was annoying not Debian to my surprise. Runs nicely so thats useful...

I Must play with new GUI for OSX before uni starts next week. I Must not kill primary machine.
