denny: (Uncommon Sense)

In light of Microsoft's recent announcement about keeping third-party software off their networks, me and some other friends ended up taking another look at Jabber. Stuff seems to be coming along nicely, and the network is (imho) nearly as reliable as ICQ, more reliable than any of the other networks (AIM/Y!/MSN). So, I'm denny@jabber.org - anyone else got one to share?

Heh, nice one :)

I'm still letting them through on gAIM, I'm interested to know when they cut all the third-party Messenger users off. You do know you won't be able to use Trillian on the Messenger network soon, yes?

I have msn and yahoo both separately, it's just useful to have them all in one program. thanks. MSN messenger is becoming as insidious as IE.

Trillian Pro 2 Beta 2 rawks. *nods*

It shouldn't be effected by MSN throwing it's toys out of the pram in a few weeks - at least it's not told me to update yet....

Oh, Trillian are going to buy a licence? Wonder how much that's costing them...
