Yesterday I actually got quite a lot done at work, certainly an impressive amount relative to the apathy-and-indifference fueled lack of productivity I've been enjoying for a week or three. So that was nice. I was absolutely shattered by the time hometime rolled around though, and my mood wasn't being aided by the occasional torrential downpours, given that I'm on the motorbike and had forgotten my waterproofs.

As it was, I got lucky and zipped home in a dry interlude, only getting damp from road-spray. Got home in plenty of time to ring a taxi for duranorak, who's staying with me for a bit. And for a while.  ;)

We started off both tired and miserable, and ended up going to sleep very happy, although it was a slow transition from one to the other. I think we've both had a rough few days, but it's nice that we pulled each other out of it instead of just moping together all evening.

*kisses* to duranorak for, oh, this and that. Or that and that  :)

And now to close down lj for a bit and see if I can carry on that little spark of productivity from yesterday...
