Hah, just ravaged my dad's credit card to the tune of just over a hundred quid, in aid of getting me some DVDs for a belated yuletide gift and an even more belated birthday gift. Cheers dad, I'm off to bed for the weekend  :)

Oh ok, you confused me when you said it was the TV version.
I thought you meant this (http://www.mvc.co.uk/common/product.jhtml?pid=16080381) which Frank Herbert directed himself rather than the
David Lynch version (http://www.mvc.co.uk/common/product.jhtml?pid=10295756).

Aha. Mine is the Lynch version, except that he objected so strenuously to the addition of the intro thing that he had his credit removed from it at his own request. It has "Special TV Edition" in big letters across the top of the case...

I think I've seen the other one in Blockbusters and contemplated renting it... I figured the acting couldn't be any worse  :)
