[livejournal.com profile] roodypoo69 needs to re-home her two cats - either separately or together. One is a very laid back and sleek male, the other a very talkative and fluffy female who thinks she's still a kitten. They're currently resident in north London, both house-trained, both neutered/spayed/whatever the term is. I'm not sure what else people might like to know - please leave a comment if you have any questions, or if you're interested in meeting them.

I assume these are the two cats still resident at the Zoo?

Hm. Not sure I can afford a second cat - certainly not a third - but on the proviso that she got on with my Fatty, I might be willing to take MauMau on. I've met them both already. Would Grace be interested in letting her stay here for a week or so to see if she gets on with my boy?

That's right, yes - Tizer and Mau-Mau.

I definitely can't take both. Three cats is more than I can deal with at the moment. But if no one wants to take them together, then I'm happy to try Mau-Mau on by herself. I think out of the two, she's more likely to get on with my boy (him being talkative and kittenish himself).

I think they might be happier apart anyway - Mau's perkiness doesn't really fit with Tizer's laziness.

Sounds good to me.

Are they house cats, or do they need to be able to go outside?

If they're house cats, we may be able to home them (we need to do some calculations).

They're more used to staying in, but they're not terrified of the outdoors. They were upstairs-flat-cats at the place they've lived the longest.

We're on the 3rd floor of our building so we have absolutely no access to the outdoors, but our flat is pretty big. If the current owner thinks that's an acceptable situation for them to live in (and she's welcome to come visit and check out the place) then we'll check our finances and we also need to check with the landlord.

We're definitely interested, and we'd like to come meet them (also see any photos of them if you have some available right now) but obviously we need to double check we *can* actually take them before we go any further.

I'll poke Grace for photos when she's next online, she might have some on Facebook. Would you still be interested in the male if the female goes to live with Avalon?

Yes, as long as they'd be alright being separated we'd still be interested in taking just one of them.

We're just doing some inquiries now, we'll get back to you as soon as we can with a more definite answer/to arrange a meet.

We might be interested in both, pass us more details if they're not already homed?

Okay... there is one potential home for each at the moment, so I'll wait until those options succeed/fail and then let you know.

Right, it seems that Grace has decided to keep Tizer for a while after all, but she's still looking for a home for Mau (the talkative female), as she really didn't get along with Av's cat at all. Do you have any other cats?
