Flying alone?

I'll be doing some body-flying at Airkix on Friday 28th September, at 9pm. If anybody wants to come along to keep me company, feel free to book yourself some minutes and let me know you'll be there. Would be nice to have someone to travel with and/or share adrenaline-fuelled cheerfulness with afterwards :)

I wanna fly! I don't know if my bf would be up for it, though (I think he's just about the max 18 stone right now). I also think that we'd be able to do it off-peak. It'd be great!

When are you flying that looks amazing fun, is it expensive?

It costs between £10 and £20 a minute - £20 for a beginner's first flight, £10 if you pay a large lump-sum up-front to get a discount. £15 a minute is the standard rate for return visitors.

It sounds like a lot, but actually it's pretty much worth it - a minute of flight-time feels like much longer than that, and it's an incredible amount of fun. Ever have dreams about flying? This place is where they come true :)

I'm going on Friday evening this week, and again on Friday afternoon next week. I'm trying to go fairly regularly at the minute - I bought a load of flight-time as my present to myself using the compensation money from my bike crash, so I'm happily using that all up over the next month or two.
