Food poisoning seems most likely to have been drink poisoning, courtesy of the fresh orange juice that I had a swig of just before going to bed on Saturday.
On smelling it today (after Helen described it last night as having gone "fizzy and weird") I found that it appears to have fermented and started breaking down the plastic bottle it lives in. Nice. Presumably whatever it was cultivating on the surface layer, I drank most of it in that one swig on Saturday - with the expected results.
Went in to work this morning for long enough to resolve an outstanding crisis, then came home again. Bed now. Feeling much less ill today, but still very fragile.

Date: 2007-04-23 05:12 pm (UTC)If it was fizzy by the next day, but not that night, it should have been okay for most people. You might have a sensitivity to that (I'm the same with milk, I can tell it's going off before it bothers anyone else), so watch out.
Hope you feel better. *hug*
