I bought two tickets for the Chaos Engine gig on the 30th. I will be driving there in my two-seater car. I do not yet have a date or friend to go along with me. Anyone interested?

Unfortunately I won't have time to do a Luton side-trip :( It's not on route, there's no good route from Luton to 'nam, and I'll be tight for time already because the gig is on a Friday.

If you could get to London on Friday afternoon, then I would love to take you with me. I'd want to come back to mine, but you'd be welcome to crash here and I'd be happy to take you home on Saturday.

Goodness gracious, and there was me not replying cos I thought loads of people would, and my diary's an uncertain beastie these days! But I've checked now, and aside from a party on the Saturday night, there's nothing else going on that weekend, so I'd gladly take you up on this. What's the earliest you could get to Kings Cross? I'm hoping to head out fairly early - the gig starts at 7:30 and it's a 3 hour drive when it's not rush hour).
