I feel the need for more interaction with the people who read my journal. No, not in real life, don't be silly. I just seem to be posting a lot of links and one-way stuff lately, rather than sharing anything about my life. So, to fix that... a meme! Um. No, really, it sort of makes sense.

"Ask me to take a picture of any aspect of my life that you're interested in or curious about - it can be anything from the house I live in to my favorite book. Leave your choice here as a comment, and I will post the pictures as a later entry. Feel free to make your requests as mundane or creative as you like!"

I've seen this one a few times before and never posted it, because I'm not any kind of competent photographer. However, I do have a digicam, so what the hell. Just don't expect art, okay? :)

In fact, I have only just figured out what the angle actually is. That's my chin in the bottom right-hand corner, which means that I'm getting on for being upside-down. No wonder I was confused :)

Well, I merely repeat my point about not expecting art :)

The view out of my window is some tarmac and the block of flats opposite - it's not very interesting. Occasionally someone parks a Bandit under the kitchen window, which is a bit prettier than the surroundings :)

Heh... okay. The desk at work was a second request by KissyCat too, so I'll grab that today, and do the desk at home when I'm there next.

I don't really have a favourite watering hole - I don't drink alcohol, so I don't have much use for pubs, and I rarely drink anything else out and about due to the ridiculous prices places charge for hot chocolate or a lemonade.

I don't have a favourite walk, because I am extremely lazy. :) However, I've taken a photo this morning of something that catches my eye when I'm walking to work (for Helen) so maybe that will do.

Kitchen I can do, it will mostly reveal the squalor of a single man living alone who doesn't cook very often, and washes things up on an as-needed basis. :)

My favourite meal was also requested by Gavin above. I did take a photo of some tuna-mayo-pasta I was about eat, but as that turned out to give me a nasty stomach rebellion in the middle of the night, I've retrospectively gone off it. I think I'll go out for dinner at some point this weekend and take a photo of that instead.

In addition to my request regarding your favourite dinner (sorry it made you a bit ill), from the time we were at Uni, I got a fair idea about the things you like and enjoy, but I'm not sure what really gets you narked - apart from sometimes people's spelling/grammar, and people who are homophobic. I'm also not sure if it is something that you can photograph - but there's a challange...
