David Cameron, discussing the integration of British Muslims:

"Inspiring as well as demanding loyalty from every citizen will require a new crusade for fairness." (my emphasis)

Good word David. Excellent word. No negative connotations to that one at all.

Cohesion is as much about rich and poor, included and left behind as it is about English and Scot or Muslim and Christian. My reading of that is that he's deliberately referencing the original Crusades to make a stronger juxtaposition with what he thinks is needed. Shall we ask him? :)
