denny: (Ouch!)

This evening I walked to the local shops to get some chips. For some reason I was feeling particularly confident and decided that I wasn't going to load up on painkillers before making the attempt.

My leg ached a bit when I got back, but it didn't and doesn't hurt. That's a pretty good sign, I think.

By the way, I owe a minor apology to everyone who has stayed at my house and got directions to the local shops off of me. I've found a much quicker way now that I'm not thinking in terms of roads all the time - turns out that there's an almost direct path :)

You mean the direct path that I've been taking for the last few times I visited, that I told you about when I found it several months ago?

Hrm. I guess I probably didn't take that much interest in the concept of paths when I was having trouble with standing up :)

I just saw this and wondered whether it might interest you.
