Buffy tonight...
Jan. 16th, 2003 04:11 pmI've been catching the odd reference in other people's journals to the new series of Buffy starting tonight, with a little twinge of excitement each time (yes, thankyou, I know I'm sad and lonely). However... it's only just occurred to me that I don't actually have a working television in my house :) so unless I find somewhere else to watch it, I'm not going to see it anyway. Funny the way these things slip your mind!
A friend of mine has said I can go and watch it at his place, but he doesn't actually watch it himself... and it seems a bit rude to go round there just to watch his television, for a programme he's not even a fan of. On the other hand, I'd hate to miss it :)

What do you mean, "they're consumers"? Sounds like the outcome of an evil ritual to me...
And... you can have Spike, 'coz we've already had him (http://www.sflare.com/Topic9.html)! *grin*

Date: 2003-01-16 01:10 pm (UTC)You had Spike? Why is he not tied up in your spare room?
Consumers in shopping centres aren't nearly interesting enough to have come from a vampire-place, nono. Although you are ;) so maybe there is...

Date: 2003-01-16 02:05 pm (UTC)Unfortunately I didn't get within tying distance of the nice man with the bleach blonde hairdo... not unless I'd had the foresight to pack a lasso, which I hadn't.
There's a certain something about using the word 'consumer' in the same sentence as 'vampire' that lends the former a whole new dimension. Consumer. One who consumes. Oh yes... :)

Date: 2003-01-17 04:28 am (UTC)You didn't take a lasso? Bah. (Isn't it odd how lasso has only one o and has a great big long ooooo sound at the end. I had to look at it for ages until i decided we'd got it right.)
Hey, i hadn't thought of it that way. I will now though. Yay for me linking two things together in a sentence and not even noticing :)
*hugs*
