Okay, last night was officially weird. I spent some time in the afternoon whinging at [livejournal.com profile] libellum on IRC about the odds of me pulling at TG (about 20:1 against, in my experience), sulked around the flat a bit, posted to LJ that I was feeling all meh, then mooched off to TG.

I hadn't even got inside the club proper when a girl came over and started chatting me up. I'd been there less than ten minutes! O_o So yeah, last night I got picked up by a French fetish model, who's in the country for the weekend for professional reasons.

Oddness.

Thanks to anyone who kept an eye out for me after seeing my last post - even though my night did turn out well in the end, I certainly wasn't expecting it to, so it's much appreciated. Sorry if I was a bit distracted when you found me, or if I was just unfindable - I was busy doing my bit for Anglo-French relations. (And possibly your bit too. No need to thank me.) ;)

Today is a duvet day; I have bad fantasy novels and I'm not afraid to read them! (Terry Brooks, Sword of Shanathingy series) Sadly I already read all the graphic novels I bought on Friday evening... they're a disappointingly short-lived piece of entertainment for something so expensive, I always find. I think Lucifer might be getting a bit less entertaining now than it was in the first few collections. The other thing I got was quite worthwhile though, a sort of Star Trek spoof with a Londoner in charge:
"Course prepared and laid in captain!"
"Get on with it then. Twat."

(Switchblade Honey - Warren Ellis)

I currently feel like I've forgotten something or missed something. This is possibly an artefact of some mixed communications this afternoon, or possibly just because I didn't get enough sleep last night. Mmmm, duvet.

I envy your duvet and bad fantasy novels. I am totally owed a duvet day. *kisses you lots*

Must admit, didn't see you... or at least, any part of you that I would recognise ;)

Glad to hear you had a good night though. We were doing well until it came time to find a taxi... nothing like standing in the freezing rain sans coat (we thought we'd be clever and not take one since we were taxi-ing both ways) to put a dampener on your evening. We perked up again though once we got home to warmth, so overall a good night.

Usually people spot me because of the glow toys, but it was so busy last night that I didn't have many chances to play with them. I did one set of poi at about half past ten, and three or four bits of juggling spread through the night.

Also, I'll bet you spent most of your time in the eclectic room? I mostly live in the hard dance area, although I do wander around all the rooms every now and then to admire everybody's outfits.

Actually, we were mostly alternating between the hard dance floor and the downstairs seating area. I did enjoy the eclectic room, but the hard dance room was kinda more fitting at the time ;)

Ah :)

Well, sorry I missed you, I'm sure you were well worth seeing *leers* but I can't say that I'm sorry for being otherwise busy :)
